About the project
The Municipality of Ruma web portal was developed as a central source of information for citizens and as a digital presentation of the local government.
The project included complete website design and development, support for both Latin and Cyrillic content, and an administration system that enables municipal staff to independently manage a wide range of content types.
The portal was structured to provide citizens with quick access to news, local government information, public notices, documents, galleries, contact information and online forms and requests.

Challenge
The main challenge was organizing a large volume of information intended for different groups of users while keeping the portal clear and easy to navigate.
A local government website requires frequent updates, publication of documents and notices, multiple administrative sections and efficient communication with citizens.
Another important requirement was support for both Latin and Cyrillic scripts, together with an administration system simple enough for staff to manage the portal without developer assistance.

Our solution
We developed a complete web portal with a modular CMS system that allows different types of content to be managed from a single administration interface.
The system supports publishing news, public notices, documents, galleries and information about municipal administration, as well as creating and managing forms and requests for citizens.
Special attention was given to information architecture and navigation in order to keep a large amount of content organized and easily accessible.
Support for Latin and Cyrillic scripts made it possible to provide content in both scripts through the same content management system.
