Fast Eats was developed as a complete system for online food ordering and delivery, connecting several different participants within one operational process.
The platform includes a customer application for browsing restaurants and placing orders, a restaurant application for receiving and processing orders, a driver application for delivery operations and a central dispatch dashboard used to monitor and coordinate the entire system.
All components share order information and status updates, enabling every participant to follow the relevant stage of the delivery process.

Challenge
The main challenge was coordinating multiple applications and different user roles within a process that changes continuously in real time.
Orders move through several stages β from the customer, through the restaurant and preparation process, to delivery β while each participant needs access to accurate and up-to-date information.
Location data also plays an important role in the system, particularly for delivery areas, distance calculations, restaurant locations and the organization of delivery operations.

Our solution
We developed a centralized Fast Eats platform consisting of four connected application components.
The customer application enables users to browse restaurants and menus, place orders and follow the ordering process.
The restaurant application provides an operational interface for receiving, accepting and processing incoming orders.
The driver application supports delivery operations and access to the information required for completing deliveries.
The dispatch dashboard provides a central overview of orders, restaurants, drivers and delivery operations, allowing operators to monitor the system and coordinate activity from a single interface.
All components exchange status information so that changes made in one part of the system are reflected throughout the delivery workflow.

Fast Eats was developed as a system adapted to several very different usage scenarios β from mobile interfaces used by customers and drivers to operational screens used by restaurants and dispatch operators.
Special attention was given to clear information presentation, fast access to operational data and synchronization between different parts of the platform.
The system architecture connects multiple applications through shared business logic and data, allowing order status and operational information to remain synchronized throughout the complete delivery process.
